Helpdesk Technician

  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.

    • Provide desktop support for applications, operating systems and hardware as required.
    • Log and document trouble-shooting steps taken and solutions applied.
    • Configuration of new computers and applications for deployment.
    • Perform maintenance of client computers as scheduled.
    • Service printer issues such as driver updates, driver installation, etc.
    • Record, track and escalate cases through our helpdesk ticketing system.
    • High school diploma required.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service and/or a troubleshoot environment.
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities including effectively responding to and resolving technical situations over the phone and in person.
    • Some knowledge of data communication protocols, web browsers, internet services such as HTTPS, FTP, DNS, POP, etc.
    • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of productivity applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to work in a quick paced environment.
    • Good follow-up skills.
