Sales Assistant - OTTO Branded

  • Responsible for sales administration for OTTO branded sales team. This role supports sales managers, independent manufacturers’ representatives, and distribution sales channels of OTTO branded products.

    • Generate, maintain, and distribute monthly sales reports to sales representatives.
    • Manage rep commissions and vendor royalty reporting.
    • Coordinate new product launch activities, which include media scheduling, development of sale collateral materials, distribution of samples and collateral to sales team, and communication to sales team.
    • Coordinate with marketing team to create, update, and distribute promotional material.
    • Prepare sales data analysis using tools including Excel pivot tables.
    • Support trade show activities, including coordination of products and sales collateral materials, handling and distribution of sales leads, trade show logistics, and occasional trade show attendance.
    • Serve as a point of contact and resource for independent sales representatives, including: Marketing materials, sample requests, promotional updates, and commission questions.
    • Perform account management for OTTO Branded key accounts, including: Processing orders, maintaining customer records, serving as a liaison between customer and OTTO personnel.
    • Enter new engineering projects in OTTO systems and follow up on project progress with engineering department.
    • Maintain and update changes to pricing in the branded product price book.
    • Manage relationship and resources with 3rd party fulfillment organizations and procurement contracting organizations, including price lists, product descriptions, and application paperwork.
    • Assist with other related duties as required or assigned.
    • Professional demeanor with excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn quickly
    • Self-motivated
    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong follow-up skills with the ability to manage indirect resources
    • Must be well-organized and have strong attention to details
    • Familiarity with CRM such as Salesforce preferred
